Biography

Raver, born Marlon Grandison, came to England from Jamaica in 1994 and grew up between two sound systems: the yard riddims of home and the pirate-radio pressure of South London.

In 2013 he realised he had a musical gift and started writing seriously. Since then he has released a run of dancehall-driven singles, including the standout 'Bad Up' — now past 200,000 streams on Spotify — alongside the video single 'Adidrip' and releases such as 'Shell Dung', 'Welcome To Peckham', 'Badman Time' and 'Always'.

Known across Peckham as the Peckham Raver, he has taken his sound to interviews, sessions and stages — including an exclusive feature on the Best In Britain Show — with a catalogue that moves between hard dancehall, UK rap cadences and melodic hooks.
